In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of N95 masks and other PPE, a group of neighbors in New Jersey began sewing homemade surgical masks out of their homes. The masks were based on patterns circulated on the Internet and guided by requests from hospitals, nursing homes, immuno-compromised individuals, and the medical workers themselves. All money collected through their GoFundMe page goes directly to supplies for the masks. They are grateful for every dollar that comes in from generous individuals like you. Funds pay for fabric, thread, and other consumables, as well as fuel for our delivery drivers. If you would like to also donate cotton fabrics, thread, elastic, and hair ties please use this link to donate. At this time, they are only able to accept materials from Somerset County and surrounding towns. They would appreciate all offers to contribute.
