Today's topic was the Color Wheel! We first presented a slideshow we created talking about the different colors! In this slideshow, we talked about the primary colors and complementary colors. We also included many interesting facts about each color, with a little video or a cute picture inserted! For example, the videos we used were from Disney's Inside Out! After we finished our presentation, we played a simulation that picked colors from a color wheel and we got to see how that color was made! Then we played a game where we had to match a color the game gives us from a color on the color wheel! Finally, the last activity we played was a painting game! The game gave us the primary colors and we had to mix colors to get the color they told us to make. Then we would paint the picture! We painted three different pictures: a basket of fruit, a monster, and a barn! To wrap up our session, we introduced STEM week to the kids! STEM week is where we will have the kids have different STEM activities on each day of the week for them to do! We also introduced letter writing to the Frontline workers!
