Today, as we just restarted the 3-5 session this week, we got to know each other! We played different icebreakers become more familiar with each other! One of the activities we did were Buzzfeed quizzes. One of the quizzes was to find out what Pixar character we are based on the comfort food we choose. Then we played Two Truths and a Lie and it was so fun to guess what their lie could be. After, we played a game where we drew four quadrants on the whiteboard on Zoom, and labeled ‘name’ in first quadrant, ‘place’ in the second quadrant, ‘animal’ in the third quadrant, and ‘thing’ in the fourth quadrant. Then we circled our mouse around the four quadrants and then we stopped at one. Then the child would have to name something in that category. The next game we played was a country game. To play, the first person names a country. Then the next person has to name another country starting with the last letter of the first country. It was quite a challenge to remember the countries on the spot! We also asked each other questions about our favorite things! For example, we asked each other what our favorite food was, what our favorite holiday was, and what our favorite animal was.
