Today we learned about rocks! We started the lesson by talking about what background information we knew about rocks. Then, we went on to learning about what rocks are made of, the study of rocks and the difference between rocks and stones. After, we learned about the three types of rocks, igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic, and what each of these rocks can tell us about the Earth's history. To recap everything we learned in this session, we watched a quick video which talked about the rock cycle. To conclude the session we did a few activities like a trivia quiz, personality quiz and used the zoom whiteboard to draw our own types of rocks!
