Today, we learned about the human body! We first asked the kids if they knew any organs, and to share what they knew. They shared answers such as the heart and the brain. We then continued to learn about the different systems in the body. We first went over the respiratory system, and learned why the left lung is smaller than the right lung. We then learned about the cardiovascular system, and that it stretches 66,000 miles! Next, we learned about the nervous system and how it controls our actions and sensory information. After learning a few more systems, we learned about some fun facts and did a quiz assessing our knowledge on the body.
