Today, we learned about Sign Language! We first went over the basic facts about sign language, such as what it is, when it was originated, and a few fun facts about sign language. The kids were very interested to hear that different countries have different variations of sign language! After we went over these basic facts, we all started to learn how to do sign language! We first learned the alphabet and each individual letter, and we then learned how to say our names! After we each learned, we presented our names to each other. In the extra time we had left, we each picked a word, and learned how to say those words, and presented them to the class! The kids had so much fun and was very informative for them.
