Today, we learned about the first Thanksgiving. We first asked the kids if they knew any facts about the first Thanksgiving that they would like to share. However, they had nothing to share, so we went straight to the lesson. We first went over key groups and places, such as the Wampanoag tribe, pilgrims, and Plymouth, and facts about each. We then went over how the first Thanksgiving transpired, and the aftermath of the first Thanksgiving. We wrapped up the session by watching "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving"
