Today, for this week's 3-5 ZoomKidz session, the topic was Rainforests! Using the Google slideshow created based on Rainforests, we began our session with a introducing the concept to the students! We asked the kids what they had already known about rainforests. We then went into how rainforests differ from other natural locations. For example, we discussed how rainforests are known for having a huge range of layers. Also, we learned about different animals that exist in the rainforest environments, plus even watched some video footage of the animals in action. Later on, we discussed about the climate of rainforests and how they have a very warm environment. Then, we looked at some famous rainforests that exist in our world. Finally, we wrapped up the session with some fun activities related to nature, including a Buzzfeed quiz, figuring out "Which Animal Are You?".
