Today we discussed the performing arts! The kids all really enjoy a particular type of art form and loved discussing their passions for them! We relayed the details of acting, singing, dancing, and playing instruments, and what makes each aspect of the performing arts so special. It's really intriguing how well people can connect with different types of performers in different ways! We also perused the different genres involved in each performing arts style, as well as the different careers one can pursue with them! Then, we played a game where the kids exclaimed the word "oh!" with different feelings in mind (happy, sad, shocked, etc.)! It was really fun to connecting their acting with the range of voice they used for each one. Finally, we finished off with a Buzzfeed quiz, which was "Which Female Singer Are You Most Like?"
