In today's class we learned the alphabet for sign language! We taught the kids how to sign language the alphabets. Before that, we talked about what the purpose of sign language was and how long it has been here for. Sign language helps communicate with the mute and deaf. We then watched a review video before we started learning to see how the alphabets went. We then went by each letter, one by one, teaching the kids how to show it and how to use it. By going through the alphabet a few times, and reviewing it over and over again, they were able to get the hang of most of the letters, and were able to express the letters! At the end, we played a game. We showed a bunch of letters to the kids and they had to guess which letters they were. At the end of the class, they were able to show the alphabets like pros!!
